I think when it comes to FIFA World Cup that song does applies.
Remembering that song performed by Tears for Fears back in 1985 and I was already 12 years old and about to be a freshman in Secondary School. I was at an age where I was still very active playing football and very crazy about it . . now in 2010 I still am!
Whoever wins the tournament gets to be the best in this planet and gets to brag about it for 4 more years before another repeat contest happens. The contenders came up some brilliant game plan and if any of you share the same enthusiasm as me then you would also find them to be HILARIOUS but TRUE!!!
So what how what's the plan? ... How do they hope to achieve it?
The England national football team represents England ... daah!
England is the joint oldest national football team in the world, alongside Scotland, whom they played in the world's first international football match in 1872.
England football fans are relying theirs hopes on David Beckham ... he's unreliable and hopeless.
But among these men will try for England ...
And their team team strategies as I was informed will be the usual orthodox style ...

France played its first official match in 1904 and was one of the four European teams that participated in the inaugural World Cup in 1930. They are one of eight national teams to have won the competition, which they did in 1998 when they hosted the competition.
When Michelle Platini was playing his football team was the best that France produced but not the most successful ... Who says so? ... ME!!!
Proof ... Platini's team challenged and worried every strong team they had to face and won most of them. And even when they did lose everyone could see that only luck was not with them. Performance wise they were more consistence.
While Zidane's 1998 team played well only on home turf but elsewhere like Japan they where crap ... kicked out like trash the moment they started their contention ... A JOKE and big waste of time.
We won't be seeing Zidane and his fellow overrated ex-Madrid Galacticos friend Mr.Beckham playing in South Africa ... thank God but it's a relief for me to see that Nicolas Anelka, Franc Ribery and Patrice Evra will be there taking part for the French team.

Illegal abortion for RM700
Tuesday November 8, 2005. Kuala Lumpur:
A clinic in Kuala Lumpur is conducting illegal abortions for only RM700, reported Kosmo!
A doctor at the clinic claimed he and his associates had carried out about 2,000 abortions, and most of their clients were Malays. The doctor does not regard his service as abhorrent. He considers it as providing a solution to a burgeoning social problem.
“The more advanced the pregnancy, the more expensive the abortion will cost,” he added.
The daily interviewed a graduate, named only as Shila, who resorted to an abortion as she was not married. “If my family knows about this, they will beat me to death,” she said, adding that the man who made her pregnant had refused to accept responsibility. “I have to borrow RM700 to pay for the abortion,” she said.

Harian Metro reported on a vegetable wholesaler saddled with a RM1mil debt because of his gambling son. Lee Boo Chuan, 56, said he almost fainted when he found out that his second son Michael Lee Chee Wei owed illegal moneylenders or alongs that much. He said he used his entire RM1mil savings to settle the debt last October. “I thought he had repented and given up his old habits,” he said, adding his son had since disappeared.

Thieves break into Star office
Tuesday November 8, 2005. Kuala Lumpur:
Thieves broke into The Star circulation and advertising office in Brickfields during the long festive break. They got in by forcing open the roller shutters at the back of the office.
An executive discovered the break-in when he reported for work at 7.45am yesterday and made a police report. Five computers, two printers, a fax machine and RM7,400 were missing.OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim said police were probing.

Motorcyclist lodges report, alleging police brutality
Monday November 7, 2005. MUAR:
A 19-year-old youth has lodged a report claiming that four policemen beat him up on Saturday.
Hau Kim Heng, from Taman Bakri Jaya, said he and his friend, Tee Chee Sinn, 17, were riding their motorcycles when one of the motorcycles belonging to the policemen crashed into them at 4.30pm.
Hau claimed that he fell down and one of the policemen took his motorcycle key and started hitting him on the face.He also claimed that his friend was beaten and they were detained without any reason.
Muar deputy police chief Supt Abu Ghani, who confirmed a report had been lodged, said the policemen were on routine patrol when they spotted two reckless riders. He said they chased the youths and stopped them near Jalan Arab. He said one of the youths suddenly revved up his engine and rammed into two policemen who were blocking them and fled the scene. Police managed to detain one of the youths.
The injured policeman was sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital for outpatient treatment.

OLYMPIA, Wash.
A woman dressed as a witch robbed a bank and vanished in the smoke of an exploding security dye pack, then apparently reappeared in street clothes and held up another bank, police said.

The Halloween holdups were less than an hour apart at bank branches in Olympia and neighboring Lacey, authorities said.
The first robbery was reported when a woman wearing a shiny purple witch hat, cloak and long blond wig handed the teller a note indicating she had a weapon and demanding cash, Lacey police Lt. Phil Comstock said.
As the woman ran from the bank, the dye pack exploded and she dropped the money and her hat, authorities said.
Olympia police later received a silent alarm from a bank branch where witnesses said a woman handed the teller a note and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
Investigators were comparing images from surveillance cameras, but from witness descriptions "it looks like the same lady," Detective Samuel Costello said.

More Britons Believe in Ghosts Than in God

More Britons believe in ghosts than in God, according to an informal survey published Monday. Of 2,012 people who completed a questionnaire, 68 percent said they believed in the existence of ghosts and spirits, while 55 percent said they believed in the existence of a god.
The Halloween survey was carried out by retailer ChoicesUK. But since it was not a random sample, its findings do not represent a statistically valid barometer of British opinion.
Some 26 percent said they believed in the existence of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, while 19 percent believed in reincarnation. Just 4 percent admitted believing that the Loch Ness Monster was more than a myth.
Of those who believed in ghosts, 12 percent said they had actually seen an apparition and 76 percent said that TV reality shows about the supernatural and film like the spooky "Blair Witch Project" had played a part in convincing them that ghouls exist.
"We want to believe in ghosts more than ever and are far more likely to take the word of a reality documentary or convincing movie than hearsay or ancient ghost stories," ChoicesUK spokesman David Rich said.
"Seeing it with our own eyes helps feed our imagination and makes the unbelievable believable."
